Privacy Policy

LiquidHQ (“we”, “our”) operates an embedded Shopify application that generates Liquid sections for Shopify themes. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. Data we collect

• Shopify store metadata — shop domain, plan tier, installed timestamp.
• Shopify API access token — encrypted at rest, used only to install generated sections to your theme.
• Prompts and generated sections — the text you submit to LiquidForge and the Liquid code we produce.
• Usage metrics — generation counts for billing and rate-limiting.

2. How we use it

We use collected data to provide the service (generate sections, install to your theme, bill correctly) and to improve generation quality. We do not sell your data.

3. Third parties

We process prompts through Anthropic's Claude API. Payments are handled by Shopify Billing. Error tracking is handled by Sentry. We never share personally identifying information with advertisers.

4. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion by emailing support@liquidhq.dev. Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin triggers automatic data deletion per Shopify's GDPR webhooks within 30 days.
